What People's Say About Place

Real good place, will have to go when it's not a Sunday as it's extra cost. I had egg foo young that came with chicken wings although I ordered pork spareribs , I was so hungry I didn't wanna send it back. The lady working there is nice. The vegetable soup I liked considering wonton wasn't on the dinner combination menu. It was quite nice..will have to go during the week if i come again. The lady asked me if it was my first time there too. I liked the chicken wings,.I just woulda preferred the spare ribs. The egg foo young was a large one patty and I think it had both beef and chicken. I enjoyed the hot egg roll.

All of our dishes were great. Sweet and sour chicken, general tsao chicken, shrimp and lobster sauce. We ordered an extra vegetable combo. Great selection of veggies. The wonton soup had lots of veggies too. The service was spot on.

This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.

Delicious Chinese food and large portions. Definitely will be back! I have a food allergy to rice, they were kind enough to substitute broccoli for a small price.

Ma and PA in the kitchen full dining room open, our favorite Chinese restaurant Downriver. Classic old school cool for decades, plating up Chinese favorites. We visit once per month so delicious and low prices, lunch till 3pm $10 will fill yo belly with Love . Many superb Chinese dishes you really need to try, here's a few just Google them for descriptions. Moo Shu Chicken, Balamaki, Singapore Noodles, Cantonese Lo Mein, Sizzling Rice Soup all marvelous . My #1 best ever Hottest Sour Soup you must try a bowl full. Why can't other Chinese restaurants open the dining room, Ma does a amazing job taking care of all customers by herself. See photos of foods on Yelp Google Instagram. Oh yeah ABD is Almond Boneless Duck only place I know that makes this outstanding delicious .

Mandarin Kitchen came recommended from a friend who knows I never say no to a dine-in Chinese meal. The service was quick and friendly, the dining room is clean and nicely decorated, and the entrees the three of us had - General T and Sweet & Sour - featured generous portions of chicken and fried rice. Each dish came to our table hot, but all relied on the heavier breading and sauce to provide flavor instead of letting the tender meat be the star of the dish. The food gets four stars for that reason. On my next visit, I'll try something different and hopefully give Mandarin Kitchen a fifth star.

This was my family's first time at the Mandarin Kitchen. It will not be our last. The food was excellent with extremely large portions and the service was fast and attentive. I had the Mongolian Beef and was very impressed. Most restaurants use the same beef as the beef and broccoli, but the beef served in my dish wasn't covered in corn starch, it was sliced thin, and very tender. I have read a few reviews that mentioned the restaurant changed hands recently and that their food wasn't up to the earlier standards. I can't speak to that. What I can say is, give the Mandarin Kitchen a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

It's been a while since I've been to Mandarin Kitchen and not much has changed. Glad to find someplace that still offers dine in service post covid. Food was as good as I remember and service was excellent. Portion sizes still quite large, couldn't finish my meal, have plenty left over for tomorrow. They still have hot mustard and plum sauce in squeeze bottles for the egg rolls and fried wonton strips for the soup, which is a big plus in my book. Prices are higher, which was expected, but I was a bit surprised by the up charge for wonton soup.
